Weds £5 London Pub Poker/LPM Game at The Apple Tree WC1

Our Wednesday Game at The Apple Tree in WC1 is a hop skip and probably a very Long jump from a certain well known Clerkenwell establishment. However the Buy in is considerably cheaper at £5 :) and is very laid back and friendly.

The Apple Tree is the home of our Wednesday League - prize a battered trophy but loads of Kudos (or maybe a bottle of Kouros) if you win it and the respect of the other players for all of 10 seconds....

The Landlord is a complete poker nut and whilst the tourney always finishes by 11, as long as he does not have a beer delivery the next day - you can find yourself involved in some cheap post tourney Sit N Go's.

For those that have been to The Apple Tree on a good night, you will probably think of this side action as Sit N Never Go as I have left the pub erm a day later LOL

Directions From Either Chancery Lane or Farringdon Tubes
Chancery Lane: walk up Gray's Inn Road. After the main junction with Theobalds Road/Clerkenwell Road, take the second right, Elm Street (by the "Butty Boys") and follow it along (as it becomes Mount Pleasant) until you find the pub.

Farringdon: turn right out of the station, then, at the main junction ahead turn right along Farringdon Road. At the crossroads with traffic lights, turn left down Clerkenwell Road, until you reach Laystall Street. Turn right along that road until you reach Mount Pleasant at the end, then turn right and keep ahead until you reach the pub on your right.
