About THE HONG KONG POKER MEETUP GROUP
Welcome to the Hong Kong Poker Meetup Group!
We're a relatively new group here in Hong Kong with players from all over the place. Games have been really fun with no shortage of action. Plus, we've had new members play at most of our meetups so far, which has been really cool. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join and there are no obligations,,, well, except that you have to love poker! lol
Most of our games consist of Hold'em and Omaha 8OB, usually with alternating rounds of each. Sometimes we play dealer's choice. Our buy-in is HK$1,000. Blinds are HK$10/20 and games are played no-limit. We've had a few No-Limit Hold'em tournaments as well.
We've got our usual venue (which everyone seems happy with) and we have a regular weekly game every Saturday evening, usually starting at 8pm or so. And for those who can't play over the weekend, we're trying to keep a regular weeknight game as well. Check our meetup site from time to time to look for upcoming events and updates. And, if you'd like to set up a game on a particular night, please feel free to let us know via the message board or by email to one of the organizers.
