About The Charlottesville Poker Meetup

I've hosted this poker group for around a year now and the results have been great. Our average attendance is around 16 people weekly.

Casual environment and fun, helpful players. Medium stakes game - cash games are a buy-in of $6.00 min-$30.00 max and the tournament buy-ins are usually $10.00, but vary depending on what we run.

If there are enough people interested I'm more than happy to host slightly higher stakes as well. Right now we have a regular tournament on Sunday nights and than a cash game after that.

Monday nights are also a straight cash game.

Beginning in June of 2009 I plan on starting to run a regular points system for our tournaments and also start a bad beat jackpot.
