We are considering setting up a no-limit hold-em tournament where the prize (per 100 entrants) would be a seat at the 2008 Main Event or a major WPT Tournament plus travel, lodging & expense money (about $12,500 total prize). The buy-in would probably be $200 (no re-buys, deep stack, and long rounds). We envision it might be sponsored by a charity (who would get any profit after expenses), so all or part of the buy-in might be tax-deductible in certain individual tax situations (CYTAFATA*). We would also look at having satellites-to-the-satellite contests in the weeks, days, and perhaps even hours leading up to the tournament in the form of 11 player single table SNG's at $20 buy-in where the single winner would get a seat in the $200 tournament. This would all be with professional dealers and equipments and using Tournament Director's Association rules. Please check the following answers based on your preferences. *Consult your tax advisor for actual tax advice.

There are a lot of ways to play. As we move forward, it would be good to know what everybody likes. Some other questions to consider.

There are a lot of ways to play. As we move forward, it would be good to know what everybody likes. First, do people prefer to play for free or for money or both?

Choose as many as you like as it will effect the number of nights we play.
